About Me

My photo

I've lived a life, but not a lifetime. At 53, I've known life in the city, its streets, it’s offerings. I've known the country side, its beauty. I've known the love of family; of good parents; of healthy children. Still, not all without it's ups and downs. The tears shed of joys and of pain. I know the love of being a mother; grandmother; wife; sister, friend, social worker, and the joys and disappointments that come with living life on life’s own terms. I’ve learned of grief and loss. Yet still, in my grief of the loss of my mother, my best friend, comes my need to write again; to plant a garden of beauty and to remember. It is in her loss that I have found the importance of leaving one's mark, even if in a word.
